1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three categories:

Account information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. This information is used to create and identify your Bookily account.

YouTube public data

When you connect your YouTube channel, we access public channel data via the YouTube Data API, including your channel name, subscriber count, video titles, thumbnails, view counts, and engagement metrics. We only access data that is already publicly visible on YouTube. We do not access private videos, comments, messages, or financial information.

Usage data

We collect standard usage data such as pages viewed, features used, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic location (country/region level). This helps us understand how the Service is used and improve the experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your Bookily creator profile
• Display your public YouTube statistics and videos on your profile page
• Deliver pitch inquiries from brands to your account
• Send transactional emails (e.g., new pitch notifications) if you opt in
• Improve the functionality and performance of the Service
• Prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data to serve targeted advertising.

3. YouTube API Services

Bookily uses YouTube API Services to display your channel data. By connecting your YouTube channel, you acknowledge and agree that your use of the YouTube API through Bookily is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

You can revoke Bookily's access to your Google/YouTube data at any time by visiting your Google account permissions page and removing Bookily. Revoking access will prevent us from refreshing your YouTube data, but your existing profile information will remain until you delete your account.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We use third-party services to operate the platform (e.g., cloud hosting, database infrastructure, analytics). These providers have access to your data only as necessary to perform their functions and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Public profile data: Your Bookily profile page is public by default. Any information you add to your profile — including your YouTube stats, past brand deals, and pricing — is visible to anyone who visits your profile URL.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and profile data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.

Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely to improve the Service.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database access controls, and regular security reviews.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access and receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time
• Portability of your data in a machine-readable format

8. Cookies

Bookily uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze usage patterns. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels for ad targeting.

9. Children's Privacy

Bookily is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Bookily after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
